Let's go for a mindful ski on Mount Royal!

If the weather conditions are not good for skiing, we will go skating at Beaver Lake (same location) instead!We will meet at the Beaver Lake Pavillion where you can rent skis, poles, and boots. At the time of writing, the ski rental is $23.00 for 3-hours. The rentals will be first come first served. If you are renting equipment, please arrive early and head to the rental counter to get yourself outfitted with what you need. Once you have all your gear and are ready to ski, please meet us outside the building in front.

This event will be catered towards beginner or first-time cross country skiers. If you are experienced, you are welcome to join, but please know we will move slowly and some time will be dedicated to improving technique. We plan to host another more advanced mindful cross country skiing event later in the winter.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE EVENT

During the event:

• Please bear in mind that you ski at your own risk. It can be very cold and we will be going slowly so dress warmly!

• If you need to get in touch with us during the event, please call or text 514-619-4542. Note that we can't check the phone often during the event. If you arrive late you can, follow the ski track until you find us! In the case of blizzards, freezing rain or icy conditions, the event will be rescheduled.
